Ana Tijoux, one of the biggest names in Latin American hip-hop, is touring in support of her new album, La Bala (The Bullet), the follow-up to her Grammy-nominated album, 1977. Born in France, where her parents were exiled during Pinochet's dictatorship in Chile, Tijoux returned to Chile as a teenager and became a household name with her first band, Makiza. Tijoux and her band take a whirlwind trip through hip-hop, jazz and funk, spiced up with a bit of politics and her great sense of humor. Pajaritos (Picó Picante) will open.
Presented in association with Crossroads Presents.
